a pip! yay!!!

Do nothing ... maybe it will hatch anyway, or it is already too weak and wouldn't survive anyway.

On day 20 I try to give all lateties a chance, but on day 17 nature gotta to its job.

Yes, ... but this is if a chick is hatched and died while drying. Or quitter before lockdown.

If it is dead remove it, when you move the first dried chicks.
It's called "lockdown" for not opening every 5 mins

So it's coming up on a day .thirty minutes till then. My mom thinks it's dead. What should I do?
I would tap on it and hold it close to your ear. You'll hear movement if it's still alive. At that point, you can choose to help it or not.

i saw it move earlier, but that has been the extent of its activity. i dont know how to help it, and if i killed it it would be awful. any advice?

i helped it and it was still alive. i removed most of the shell that was covering the air cell, and there wasn't any blood veins, but i didn't remove the membrane. in the picture, what is circled is where I removed the shell. Do you think I will have to do more/ when?
