A sad story from craigslist

I completely agree. Who really cares if it is made up or not? The point is clear.

I agree...the point is VERY clear. If he hadn't been so creative in making it, it may not have come across the way it did. So, kudos to Victor.

IF IT'S MADE UP, why would you want to copy and paste a lie all over the net? That's how untruths are spread. Just recently we had an untruth spread on this very site and just look how many people it hurt. The story soumded like someone writing a cruel childrens book to me. That's my story and I'll sticking to it. Until someone can prove otherwise. It's makes a sad story but we could ALL write one of THEM couldn't we? No pity-party for me thank you. Stll, "Craigslist"? Have you ever seen ANYTHING written there that smacked of ANYTHING but UNTRUTH? Sodom and Gamorhhra of internet years.

I was never given a pet for easter or any other time as a kid! What a lucky fellow to have that privilege. Why is there a stigma that you cannot show love to livestock that you eat? I thank the lord for every meal; however it may have been grown. I think if you show them love they taste better. Knowing their destiny should not change the way you treat them. Do others beat and abuse the livestock they raise! -JUST MY OPINION!

I think there was a good point made. I have seen children be given "pets" such as bunnies and chicks for Easter , without the parents knowledge or with it. I usually ended up taking them in. Wether the story was made up or not, he was not asking anything except for people to think before buying pets for Easter which is coming up. He wasn't asking for anyones pity, only for people to think first. And the scam on here that was talked about does not even compare to the one on here. That was totally different.

Good story but sounds very made up...but good story none-the-less...As long as parents get it through their thick heads to not get kids easter bunnies and easter chicks only to have them discarded when the day is over, I don't care if its made up as long as they get the point!! ...besides, hard to believe anything on Craigslist anyway...

Oh my God, that was so sad. Whether or not is is true doesn't matter. It is good to make people realize that pet are not disposable. It makes me sick to see how many pets are dumped or killed because they are an inconvenience to people

aww that is horbile..
i had a chicken like that ever had it in a box in my room.then it got big and still gave kisses!only i got to keep mine and i have never stoped collecting them lol.
