Pebble hesitated for a moment, hovering in the air. She finally dove down, carefully feeling the air currents under her wings. She managed to land clumsily on the ground. She then tried to stuff as much yarrow as she could into her beak.

Pebble followed after him, grabbing some more yarrow in her talons as she lifted up. You can never have enough yarrow. she thought, enjoying the cool wind against her face.
 
River flipped her head around to watch her flock, calling upon some water which spinned in front of her. She marveled at it. So odd how so few owls can control water. she thought
