"Yes," the handsome screech owl said without emotion. He had been watching her. "And you are River," and you have magic. He thought, but didn't want to share something so secret. He had seen her as a chick moving water, and then her mother hurry her away and lecture her on magic, and not to reveal it. He did not have magic himself, but he was a powerful for. It didn't matter if you had magic in this flock anyway, it was safer to not have it. Because if Morgana found out, well he didn't want to think about that prospect. He didn't really know what would happen exactly any way.(He's a stalker. Also I have to go to bed.)
