A Shocker From My Landlord!

Sweet!! Can I come stay in the yurt? My BF won't let me get a peacock-- jerk! I can't imagine what Georgia weather would do to a yurt. I'd wake up one morning floating' down the Hootch.

I am a bit jealous myself. I really don't think our neighbors would be happy. I am nervous enough about getting a rooster. my landlord however is right up there with yours allowing us to have chickens and *he's* the one who suggested the rooster.

And an idea just popped into my head... Yurt Chicken Palace...hee hee...now that would be a big chicken coop.

I wish my grandma would say stuff like that! I tell her what I want and she says yeah, that would be cool, then she says, well this is wrong with that, and that is wrong with this. I still usually get it,lol.

Not all landlords are bad--I have a little house on two arces, grape vines, apple tree, little green house, had a great little garden spot(now has small trees) and it has gone downhill quick..I would LOVE to have renters who would build, repair, have animals, garden, plant things! I would just appericate a renter who would take their trash off and mow the grass!!! 90% of the people I have dealt with just don't care. I have told all my renters that they can have livestock-they could build pens, houses, dogs- if they put them in a fence--not on a chain.. I even told one guy (who was talking a good game) I would pay for the materials for him to build a chicken coop... NOT one person has even picked up the downed limbs!

Renters have no stake in the property they rent. They don't own it, they don't insure it, they have no ties to it. It is a place to live for which they exchange money.
In return, the law usually sides with them. It's a heluva racket.
There are ways to get a better class of tenant, although most landlords dont know what they are. So they become hardened. This makes the tenant care even less. It's a downward spiral from there.
There are the occasional good tenants. But most of what I've said applies universally.
I'd say our girl dangerous has one of the better landlords.

I was going to ask the same thing but thought I'd see if someone else did first. Never heard of such a thing before.
