a sort of bantam roosters...what are we? **pics added**

I see a little crest on the black pullet. Silkie or polish mix???? I have a white hen with black spots that is part polish and her crest looks exactly like your black girls. Except for the color, of course.

The rest look like d'uccle crosses, and the cute pullet is perhaps part silkie, part d'uccle.

I'll bet! And people can be really weird... Those birds are the sorts that could find homes without too much trouble, I'd think, even with some of them being roosters. Oh well, their loss is your gain! You have some tame, lovely new friends.
