What breed and gender are we?? Rescued babies!

i know but no one around here breeds for show. and i normally order from Strombergs but even they have been out.

Fun to guess! But it will be more apparent what they are in a few more weeks. I vote cochins or crosses at this time as well. I had some Houdans(not bantams) that have 5 toes that looked a bit like that as chicks. I hope you get mostly hens!

and because (in my case) in a hopeful attempt of them getting the correct birds when i ordered them all other hatcheries were completely out of everything. bought them for show and cant use them now

That’s horrible!

We took them because they literally sold them to us at $0.50 a piece. Their food was just poop in the bowls and their water was green…

This TS just didn’t care since they had another shipment coming in..

Out of 40 chicks I think only 28 survived. We gave away as many as we could and even sold a few. So I have five of the australorps, six of the leghorns, two sapphire gems and then the two bantam babies you see.

Okay. I’ll have to make sure I can get some little girls for them or will they be okay with the standards? I have one Australorp male from that venture lol.. I don’t think any leghorn males but I’ll have to wait and see..
