Yep. They have a lot of mixes. I just didn't know they had any mixes that used pekins so heavily

True! And even their regular breeds are sometimes messed up like all those “Barred Rocks” that have been coming out recently

i ordered RIR before and they sent me production reds and some RIR mixed with something else before. ordered barred rocks and they sent me sapphire gems. oh and my current Buff Orpintgons that are buff but not Orptingtons

That’s just sad though to not even get what you order.

I actually just saw someone I think yesterday or the day before who literally got all males and the wrong breeds from them. They ordered all females, no males. Got like 10 males they were new to chickens too, I feel so bad. The thread is around here somewhere.

To screw up THAT bad is just ridiculous.

I think they ordered Barred Rocks and Partridge Rocks. Got BSL males and partridge Chanteclers according to others. At least they got the partridge part right?

and because (in my case) in a hopeful attempt of them getting the correct birds when i ordered them all other hatcheries were completely out of everything. bought them for show and cant use them now

So sorry. If you want to show, contact a show breeder, it's really the best option
