she likes chickens, you can tell from the 2nd pic. I often wonder if she knows where the eggs realy come from?

She is cute.

I never had your problem, I collect eggs or my hubby does and the bucket goes on the ground as well while we do something else it just sits there! Ginja (my fur ball) will stick her nose in the bucket and have a sniff, but she's NEVER taken one, I do say NO when she sticks her nose in....
I have even handed her an egg or two right there after collecting, just to give her a little treat, and then I put the bucket down and she STILL doesn't think those are her eggs to eat.

She really needs to respect you as boss (as I think buster said and perhaps others) If you can't juggle a dog on a leash and a bucket of eggs (who can?) find someone to go with you and give a hand, and make sure she KNOWS those are your eggs!

Well, if you are like me....an idiot most days....you have given your dogs a crushed or broken or even a really mucky egg as a treat. That, I believe, was my first mistake.

I look back on that now and say to myself, "Self, that was really stupid! He probably would have never known those little oval things were good to eat unless....

" Now I can't really get mad for the mutt sneaking in a treat when he can....when my back is turned....
