A temp question

99 to 102 is fine. I keep my incubator from 99 to 100. It really depends on the incubator and the type of thermostat to determine how much swing you get in the temp. A wafer thermostat or a light bulb are a little harder to regulate than a digital thermostat.

That should be fine as long as it kicks on and gets it back up above 99 without making it sit for too long.

i was just about to ask what kind of thermostat you have. im using a thermostat out of a fish tank heater. the range is about 1 deg. my next incubator is going to have to use a waterheater therm because it has a higher watt out put.

can you post pics of your setup? im going to do one more hatch in this one then have to go out of town. when i get back..... im gona build a bigin. the one i have right now will hold about 2 doz but its tight fit. im gona build one that will hold atleast 5 dos. also wanting to build a egg turner (still researching that) and better way to control the humidity. i could just save some money for a few weeks and buy one but i take to much pride in building stuff myself.
