A Thread Just For Unknown Breeds/Genders!

I think that a thread just for posting questions about breeds and genders is a great idea for new/beginning chicken farmers. Many people start their own threads and don't get answers, so I think that it would be a good idea to just have a general thread on this topic. If this thread works out, it will be great for anyone who has questions. So....

Post here if you need to know what breeds or genders your birds are!!!!

Any idea what kind of breeds these are?

Could I see a full body shot of the black one and the grey one? I think the black one maybe a Black Australorp.

The first 3 pics are from the same bird. I should have had 3 female and 1 male Salmon Favorelles. This one does not have 5 toes and the wings are not the right color.


Bird 2 above - I believe a female - but feather much lighter then the next ones.

1st chick looks like a White Leghorn...Or White Plymouth Rock. It's kinda hard to tell.

Whatever breed they are though, they sure are cute!!!

Just the thread I was looking for! I received several chicks just the other day and I am still trying to figure out all the breeds. They are probably still too young, but just maybe someone might know chicks pictured have no feathers on legs unless otherwise noted.
