the naked necks are called turkens, and they have a wonderful disposition but grow to be pretty ugly. However, the naked neck gene is dominant so they could be mixed breeds. That can play big time on their nature. I have a couple mixed breeds turkens that are really flighty and dont like to be handled. Completely contrary to rest of the flock. one of them has feathered feet. its pretty funny. Bald neck, feathered legs. shes like an upsidedown chicken.

nice chicks should make a realy nice flock when they get older. Like to NN's I dont like how they look when they get older though.

Good Luck

I can't thank you enough for posting those for me! My son will show me how to do photobucket tomorrow.
On a sad note I just lost my female Great Pyrenees, she was a rescue about 8 years ago with her son who was only 4 weeks old at the time. She was only 7 or 8 months and had been bred the first heat and lost the other pups. She's been the dearest member of my family and a protector for all my animals. JoJo was a special SPECIAL friend, I'll miss her so much.
I'm worried about her son, they've been inseparable and I couldn't take one to the vet or groomer without the other, they stood over each other and were never apart.
I'm going to try and find a Pyr pup or a Newfie, or other large breed to keep him company because he doesn't get along well with the small dogs, they antagonize him and he's a very peaceful dog.
Thank you so much again.
Kate
