I took the baby I had to. I was gonna drive back home to check on my ducks but literally before I even got out of the driveway the second the seagulls saw i was gone a flock of about 50-60 immediately flew over and started swarming around them. Mom actually didn't seem to care that much she just went to sleep when I left with the baby.

I took the baby I had to. I thought you would take the baby. I probably would, too. And what a sweet baby!!

That poor momma, not from you taking the baby but from everything else. Nature isn't kind.

I brought in Penguin, and unfortunately she was not at all interested in the baby, she even seemed scared of it.

Unfortunately I dumped out her nest yesterday morning trying to break her broody not anticipating this, she hasn't been laying in the nest since.

This little guy seems to be pretty comfortable with me already, im gonna call him Gizmo

Oh no! It was probably time to break her though. That's a cute name for a cute lil duck!

I'm incubating right now, and on Saturday, February 13 they are supposed to hatch.
