Abandoned ducks. Need help on how to catch them.

They come almost right up too you so I was thinking if I can get them close enough then someone could toss a blanket or something like that over them while I grab them.
This would work! Really anything to get hem contained, you just wouldn't want to miss them with the blanket, and then have them be scared of you after that because you are throwing things at them.

Keep it open and toss food inside. Once all the ducks are in close it and put a blanket on top.
Then, with help, put the dog kennel up to the gate with the kennel door open. Then open up the gate just enough for them to go into the kennel. Use food to lure them in. Once you get some ducks in there shut the gate and door. Take the ducks in the kennel and drop them off, then come back to repeat this until you've got all of them.

Hope this makes sense lol
This is a good idea too! The lonely issue would eb if you didn't have the round dog pen, but you could probably make shift something too. Like if you took some chairs form you house and set them in circle, and pulled sheets and blankets around them in a circle, like a little fort!

Something like this would work as well. I bet you could get this at home depot, or ofd craigslist or fb market place. I just had this one laying around.

This would probably be the best out of all of them.

I agree. My rescue ducks were effectively captured off a lake in a similar manner. Though, after being lured into temporary fencing they were herded into a large dog crate for transportation. They weren't tame at all and we're super freaked out - food would not have convinced them to go into a crate.
