Good luck!
Now that it has good breathing room, chances are better that it will be alive when you get home from work.

Next step will be to remove the shell that isn’t touching the membrane. (I think I see air cell gap up under there). Then moisten the membrane and you should be able to see if any blood vessels are still strong and active. If the membrane is clear, you can split it enough to let the duckling push it’s way out.

Membrane is very dry and white. I wet a part and think I see veins
