Abscess?? Injury?? Infection?? On my Ayams back left rump.

Try aloe, it won't make her sick, it soothes, & moisturizes the wound. It should reduce itching too.

Add some of Nutridrench to her water for a boost. Can I see the dropper so I can give a measurement?

I will try the aloe. She is so skinny. I feel so bad.

Here is the dropper.

do you have a rooster?
Yes 2.. one is 1 yr old (Mr. Fancypants) and has been in the chicken tractor since spring, he kicked our 5 yr old polish (Mr Chicken) out of the coop. I gave Fancypants a chance with all the hens but it was caos he was too young. So we switched them back months ago.

Polish roo with sister to Blacky my injured 1.

Ok, then it could be a spur mark from mating.

The black dude's spurs are pretty long/sharp. I'd at least blunt them to a rounded nub.

After evaluating her I found this lesion and a glob of feathers on back of neck missing. I suspect injury from a dog that was visiting and left out overnight. I cleaned it, scrubbed it, soaked it then applied Neosporin and pine tar (she was eating herself) and tried to wrap it. All my wrapping and covering attempts failed so far the last 5 days I have been cleaning it and applying Neosporin x 2 a day.

last night I noticed she had diarrhea and this morning she did too. She has been less active or interested in food

She was missing a fist full of feathers in an odd place for the rooster, base of back of neck.
The wound you are showing is on her side toward her tail.
You mentioned base/back of the neck two times.
Is there a wound there too?

In the photos, the wound looks to be healing. Do you notice any odors at all?
She's not feeling well, so she's got something else going on. Have you looked her over for other wounds (all over her body?).

Has she laid any eggs at all since she was injured?

Keep the wound clean, apply your ointment. I'm still not clear if she is or isn't picking at the wound. If she's not picking at it leave it uncovered.

The poop is not normal. She needs hydration. Push fluids, give electrolytes or a bit of sugar water along with plain fresh water.
I would also give her calcium for 3 days =1 Caltrate with D3 once a day for 3 days.

Consider giving her an antibiotic. Sometimes you can find fish antibiotics (amoxicillin) at TSC. Check to see if your store carries them. If they do, get that. Dose is 57mg per pound of weight given orally twice a day for 10 days.
If not, then order them online https://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=F7605B41-10BA-45F7-8AF3-5CD0530BC1C9

Encourage her to eat. It's fine if she's out and has some company, just make sure flies are not getting into the wound and that the other are not picking at her.
