With the extras ppl sent me and miscounting the number of holes in the turner - I have 6 eggs too many for my turner. Can I lay them along the side of the turner? Any other options? I have the feeling along the way I will have at least 6 that don't developed since these are all shipped eggs, but what do I do until then? Anyone want to loan me another bator?????

I would love any suggestions.

I wouldn't know why you couldn't lay the extras along the side and hand turn. Then, after you candle the first time if there are some that aren't viable you might have room for the extras. What breeds are you hatching?

Good luck

I agree with Empty Nest.

I once saw a pic of someone who just lumped them up (must have been about 60 +) all over the others (without the turner) and after 7 th day candling, took out the non-viables and voilla! lots of room for the growing eggs
