Accidental Frizzle+frizzle?

Really? That would be such a relief. The feathers aren’t exactly curly, but they do tend to go forward in spots.

Silkies and frizzle are two different things. Frizzle is curled regular feathers, silkie feathers lack barbules I believe, so the feathers are more like down.

Looks like a sizzle to me.
Frizzle and silkie are two separate feather types.
Sizzles are both types on the same bird.
I can see the frizzle especially on neck and back in that pic.

I fear that he is a sizzle. I thought that his streamers were just going the wrong way because he’s got a bad attitude. He’s a handsome devil, but a devil none the less.

Looks like a sizzle to me.
Silkied and frizzled.

he isn't frizzled/a sizzle just a bit poofy... sizzles/frizzles look different.
What is a sizzle to you?
Have a pic?
To me this is a sizzle.
Same as OPs bird.

A sizzle (to me) is a silkie feathered frizzled silkie. (I dont know how else to describe it)
No I dont have a picture.. . But my silkie rooster's hackle and tail feathers dud the same but he wasnt a sizzle.

I've had a lot of silkies but never noticed any that had that little bit curled look myself.
Its hard to find real sizzle pics but all I've seen look very little frizzled to me.
Pic I posted is by far the most frizzled.
I really don't get the apeal of them because they look so much like a regular silkie to me. A lot of effort to breed them for the result IMO.

Okay, here are the 3 chicks. They’re a little over 2 weeks old.
