snuck a quick look at my shipped eggs this morning as I ran out the door I have an external pip! its a marans! day 21 was yesterday but I will take em even if they want a couple more days to hatch. lol

I don't think you did anything wrong they were packaged so nice! I keep hoping that a couple will hatch! I would love for all 9 that went into lockdown to hatch but its hard to tell. a male and a female would alow me to move forward with the breed. Lol am I asking too much?? the turkey eggs still looked Great and right on track!

the hardest part right now is that I am at work and can not check on them,,, wait I have a kid at home BRB I am going to call and have them LOOK! lol

My Welsummers would take 22 days when other breeds would be done hatching by day 21.

lol I was TRYING to be patient! I was going to chalk it up to shipping??? or whatever else you want to say? my last batch of home grown's hatched 2 days late, I kinda figured that was due to incubator running a little low?
still very excited to meet these new marans!
oh a side note I picked up a couple marans eggs from my local contact last night that will go in tonight.

came home to a little white marans out running around. 2 more external pips. Pulled out the legbar egg it quit on me. left 3 marans I was not sure about with the 2 that were piped

our little marans almost posed here beside its little friend
