I only had the one BCM that ended up hatching. It's the only one that's in my brooder that has a fully feathered neck and feathered leg's, so it's not hard to know what one it is. Man that egg it hatched from was a dark chocolate brown!

woke up to one black necked neck running around in the bator so now we have one black turkey and one black necked neck in the brooder 2 more eggs look promising but time will tell

@aliciaplus3 I finally got me a blue NN from one of those shipped egg's that hatched! That one is definitely not going to be up for sale. I'll be keeping it for my breeding stock, no mater what sex it end's up being. I've been wanting a blue NN. Only one of the Black Copper Maran's from that shipped batch hatched out.

I sell my full feathered necks that hatch out from my NN's as "mixed breed". I don't want people to think that they will automatically get a naked neck chick by breeding them later to any type of rooster. Most people around here don't really care about what breed they are as long as they lay nice egg's well. (They have the "a chicken is a chicken" mentality. )

Lots of folks here feel that way just as long as they get them cheap. Seriously they want em for like $5 at point of lay
We used black australorp to make our black naked necks so they will be good layers.
The yeller one is from another pen it's a cross

$5.00 for a POL? That is crazy! I suppose that they want to get chick's for free, then!

I sell my mixed chicks for $5-$10 it depends. I'd sell a POL Pullet for $15-$25. I've never had a chicken last to the POL though because everyone always buys all the chicks.

I'm scared to go into TSC because I think they might have chicks I'm going to try to avoid them.
