Hello all,

First time poster, but an avid lurker here and on BYC subreddit.

I recently lost a wyandotte hen to prolapse vent, and had a friend from work give me a bird and she says it's a bantum, but she got it from a neighbor. Approx 6-7 weeks ok.

My established flock is 13 months old, great egg layers and treat hounds who will follow me and hang around but hate being touched or petted.

On to this possible bantum. This little girl (pretty sure it is anyways) requires constant human companionship, hates being in the run by herself, and will chirp so loud if you aren't in direct eyesite of her.

The reason the alone time in the run is my flock birds are 4x her size and i don't want her to get pecked to death while everyone is gone for work/school activities, and so the big birds can get used to her.

So my question l, is it feasible to add this little bantum to my wyandotte flock, or am I kidding g myself?

Also I an northern Midwest, and lowest my coop got down to was 33F, and I'm reading that bantums don't do well in the cold.

Thanks

Edit. Added more pics.
