I have always social distanced myself from humanity all my life, and I have never had an issue with finding things to do inside the house or outside. So in this respect I can't tell the difference! :D But the overall vibe of this thing that seems to be circling the globe, all the death, the suffering, the anxiety, etc..... I seem to be picking up on it, empathizing even though I have distanced myself from even the news to save my sanity, . And this is the part that has me on edge.
Not a lot of point in worrying about something you can do nothing about.
I'm interested in what's going on but as an observer; I'm hardly a participant in modern consumer life.

Exactly. It's going to run its course no matter how much we stew or not stew on it. I just can't look at the news anymore, it causes me way too much anxiety. :D We live completely isolated from society out here in the middle of nowhere, neighbors are miles away, absolute silence, I have always needed my space from humanity. I don't know how people live so close together. :D

As a family we have always kept a distance between us and the neighbors.. Even in the city. Not that we are not friendly but just that We dont go borrowing a cup of sugar or Socialize over the fence...

Product of a dad who was raised in a family with TB all his sisters had it and survived... and a mom who had Agoraphobia. So No hugging or kissing in this family even. I had to learn how to give a hug later on in life.

This is why I love my land so much. I choose to socialize when I go into town but Rarely invite anyone up to the house.

I have had exactly one party. and It was a Come as you can affair with finger foods. Had a great turn out about ten or twelve people... Not all at once. and all Work friends.
