A sad day

Yesturday 2 eggs had live chicks in them (candled with a torch) but this morning one was dead with its membrane tight and dry round it (wish i had opened it last night) and the other was alive just but had development issues.

So we only have our one little Barnevelder (praying its a girl) I think Flo just didn't keep the others warm enough.
We are going to try again but with Tikka as she's a bigger older chicken.
