Advice on choosing quail

Hello. Snowies are white with black spots or completely white? They gave me a male white one with just a pinch of brown on the head. Is that a Bobwhite? It's the most docile of all the birds I raised myself. Japanese are friendly but they are no cats.
My snowies are coturnix. Most coturnix that are white with a head spot are Texas a&m variety, a jumbo meat bird.

It's the only male I have ( My other male lost interest not to mention is the father of most of my hens). The new birds will lay less eggs? I now Texas is for meat and they don't lay so often. ( Will they be cute at least? Half white?)

They lay just as well as far as I know, but being larger meat birds I guess they consume more feed to produce the same amount of eggs.

To be honest I have 24 quail with mostly Pharaoh(brown). I have a couple Italian(golden), some tux and two whites. My whites are my smallest but my wife thinks they are the cutest so the were picked as my males that were kept. I think sometimes when you say Texas A&M you assume they are big. My Pharaohs are almost twice the size of my whites and goldens.

My only white has the same size as the rest. I don't really know what they are. I have watched thousands of YouTube videos and depending the country use different names. Especially when they name them Italian or Japanese or snowies or pharaoh. In my town was difficult to find quails and I found them by accident at a livestock food store. He calls them Jumbo but I don't think they are. I saw a comparison video and my quails are definitely not so big. They are very common. I have started a quail frenzy though! To of my friends started with 3-4 quails. I am yet a little confused. I don't want to see them as pets. I am interested in the eggs mostly. But I wont them to be happy. I never had problems with them jumping even when I open the cage from the top. They eat from my hand and run to take basil leaves. I keep a pot just so I can treat them every time I pass by. I think I lost it when I gave them names. How can you eat it when it's called Dorothy! ( Dorothea= God's gift) 😄
