Oh, I am so, so sorry about Scarlet! I just love that photo! What a testament to the love and care you've given her! No one would have/could have done more for her. All I can say is that I wish every PERSON would get the kind of care you gave Miss Scarlet. I will always remember the shop-a-holic hen!

I'm so sorry - I was really rooting for her. Sometimes it's for the best, but that doesn't make it hurt any less to let our pets go when it's time. :aww

I'm sorry. I know first hand how difficult it can be to deal with a bird with a leg issue. I'm still not sure that my Zane will ever recover, either. Sounds like you did the right thing for her, though.
