Advise needed

Finally a second egg! The middle egg is real. The other two are dummy eggs. We are so excited!
I know the feeling! Here's a pic of me from a few years ago with our first egg (our hens' first egg too!) My wife and I fried that tiny egg and had but a forkful each ... it was heaven.
The shell sits in a place of honor in our home next to the wishbone from one of our roosters.

What no bronzed egg? Moving is very stressful to chickens and it can take weeks for them to feel secure in new home. This is normal for them. Sounds like they are feeling safe with you and the laying should accelerate. Welcome to BYC.

I agree with everyone else, though. :) They're getting used to everything! I moved 6 hens from a neighbor's house (just three houses away from mine) and it took them a week or two to start laying again, even though it was just a minute trip in the truck to their new coop.

Glad they're starting to lay though! Hopefully you get more eggs soon. :)
