Don't put human emotions on the Ducks. The Drakes will not miss each other at all. Sorry it's time for two separated pens and more Hens for each Drake or get rid of one Drake.

I would still consider re-homing one drake.. Even if they aren't breeding as much now things will be much crazier in the spring, Especially for your girls. A good drake to duck ratio is 1-4. And when keeping multiple drakes in one group I like to keep 6 hens per drake so no one's fighting over anyone.. I've downsized from almost 50(large) ducks to 12. But I only have one drake out of the 12, And I don't plan on adding anymore.

I had one drake with 3 hens, and even then I made a decision to separate him for about a month last summer. Now he has 5 girls, so hopefully this summer is a bit better, but there's one in particular he is rough with, we'll see how it goes.

I would...if you can...get some more females. For there to be 3 females to males then you would need 6 females..... I would maybe get rid of one of the boys and just get 3 girls. O I have when thing like this happen and you have to get rid of ducks(but is is fun when you can just get MORE ducks).
