11 months is a long time to wait and when it finally gets here...it is a high you won't come down from for days! Well, with you...It might be weeks, months, years
Now the next wait on the list is waiting until you can climb on her back and take her out for a ride. You can't even imagine how relaxing and theraputic a ride can be. Sometimes when I have had a really hard day, I am waiting when my DH pulls in the drive and I jump on her and go for hours down by the creek and thru the woods watchind deer frolic. That will cure anything
My mare and I have a really good bond and we love going on long rides together and the taking a break in a big field, rolling around, (I don't ride with saddles), eating a pic nic (while she eats grass) and just relaxing....Well, now that I have a kid free day today, I have talked myself into it...no town...going riding and ponying our little filly
Have you picked out names yet? Or did I miss that...??
eta: mine still doesn't have a name yet....and she is almost a month old - LOL I can't find anything that really suits mine yet.
