Usually hatch day 21,unless temperature was a little high and speeded them up. Good luck with the hatch,make sure water is in there during hatching

It could mean they will externally pip by day 20 but never start worrying if they don't, 98 degree's could prolong the hatch by a day or two.. I have had them start hatching early on day 19 or 20 and the rest hatch on day 21-22

Agreed! Movement is exciting and a great sign, but the hatch is still a process so keep watching

So its day 20 now and no pips i candled one(probably a bad idea) there was no internal pip but the chick was moving would upping the humidity and temperature help?

I don't believe it would but just out of curiosity what is your temp and humidity?

Patience is what you need right now more than anything..... The more you mess with them the less chance they will have to hatch.. Its hard, even for those who have hatched for years, its hard but its what is best for the chick.. I would have candled at the end of day 21 if I saw no action, but not before.

Personally, the humidity is a bit high...I believe folks shoot for 60ish...

Don't worry...it is only day 20

Just wait and watch

I do not touch or disturb my eggs at this point because I do not want to interfere with the hatch...just my opinion
