So after a chick has pipped how long does it take it to hatch everything says up to 24 hours but im talking about how long on average?

Should have chicks out before you go to bed,but leave in til next morning. Do you have brooder box all set up. Turn on light and put thermometer in to check temperature

Yes... it always takes the first one until the others start in.... And to answer your other question, the average is 12-24 hours... Once in a while I will get one that pips and zips like a rock star, but that's not the norm..
