Hi everyone!
I'm extremely worried about my eggs, they're all from my 6 month old Cochin Bantam, as soon as she layed I put the eggs in the incubator, it's day 7 for egg 1 and it's developing well, can see some movement too but their cell is on the pointed end. I Candled the rest too and my other day 6 and 5 are also the same, they all have the air cells at the bottom, even though I kept them pointed end down and slightly tilted within the egg tray, since they are half the size of normal eggs it wasn't very hard to lay them slightly on their sides without taking up too much space.

It's my first time incubating and I am really worried for egg 1 especially. I searched for some way to deal with this and I found a video of a guy who layed his detached air cell eggs upright , despite the placement of the air cell.

I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer, in desperate need of help!

Hello, and welcome! I always put my egg's in an egg carton pointy side down and let them sit a bit before putting them in the incubator. That way the air cell should move to the top or the big end.

That's a great tip, Thank you! I'll be sure to do that for the next eggs. How long do you let them sit?
