My youngest two started laying a week or so ago. Australorp x BCM

My original flock is molting explosively. Overnight POOF half nekkid bird. Suprisingly my pullets I got this spring are molting too. I thought they usually dont do that their first year.

I get 4 eggs on a good day out of 13 birds. Most days it's 1, 2 or none.

Scovies are coming of age I think. The drake looks a little frisky. Maybe some ducklings in spring time?

They were hatched end of June, so 5 1/2 months. Timing works well, spring should be the time for them.
