Donna yes, this is day FIVE for him and I'm trying to bite my tongue when he's being a (posterior end orifice!) but sometimes it's hard! I spent most of the day at the store today sewing, and that's ok too.

How old are your mares Donna? Not that I could ever afford one *sigh*

I THINK I have someone to take the elder who sounds perfect but we'll see... I was told once, by a person in the AK Morgan horse assn.. That the younger was the "best Morgan mare in Alaska"... She's not (in my opinion) , but still awfully nice..

well I have lost 2 rooster chicks in the last 3 days, and my neighbor lost her 5 month old kitten 4 days ago, now I am being told there is a Fox and a Coyote in the area.....
so I will be moving them all to the winter coops which are more secure.

That is a HECK of a deal. I wish I had room for another breed. If you had angora's I might actually really push for another hutch! LOL!!!

Bonnie, I don't know what everyone else uses, but I have a cage that is all wire with legs, those ones that AFW sells....Sometimes, if they are smaller
I use my rabbit show transport cages.

by the way, this isnt just any old rabbit show, this is the State Convention

We've had hawks flying over the past several days so have been keeping close watch. There are so many predators about.

We want good ones, and haven't tried terribly hard to find them. But it's a drain since they no longer can be used in the business....
