No, not yet. I have one more NJ egg that should pip soon, and then yours should start tomorrow night I think.

I've been VERY careful with pulling out the eggs and chicks to make sure I keep the temp an humidity stable, so far it's worked!

Carmen, Rachel has a really nice flock of Dellies I sold her this summer, part heritage and part hatchery. I was working on them when I decided I had too many breeds going at once...I was really pleased with
not only their egg laying abilities but the chicks that were hatching were nice sized. Maybe check them out at least their local. I know some of her boys are huge and the girls produce a nice
sized egg.
Ooops just saw she replied to you...Sorry about that!

The panels are 6 feet tall. The ducks have had one wing clipped or they would fly out in a heart beat. The chickens hop up on the low roof of their coop (the nest boxes are under there) and walk around, but no one has given much thought to flying out.

Glad ya'll like them. They really have been a hodge podge of ideas--sort of build as you go.

DH and I were watching the birds from the deck last night. We noted that the Delaware rooster was considerably bigger than the other roos and that we would like to have more of them. I think I even go the go ahead to order more next year. I think I'll order a dozen. I saw Washington (Del) mount one of the Black Australorps. She was not the most pleased but her comb and wattles are turning a nice red. I was noticing a couple of others seem to be quite a bit ahead of the rest. Maybe I'll get some eggs soon.

They have yellow legs. Yes, they do have discounted shipping. Express shipping on 50 chicks is about $10 more than shipping on 25. They only ship to AK via Express Mail.
