I think it will work out pretty good. I was actually going to have it hauled off because it was getting pretty "tired" but then I got the idea I wanted chickens and my wife mentioned that maby I should use that and I went out and got to looking at it and started having ideas running through my head lol. I think Im going to make a new door for it though cause when I tried to cut a whole in it for the chickens to come in and out of it kidna started falling apart so im ganna get some 1x4s and some plywood and make a new door and then make the chicken door in the bottem of it with some kind of a sliding door or a swing up and latch to open type door so come winter I can lock them in when it gets really cold out, but for hte most part I think im ganna let em run out in the run too but when it gets down right cold I dont want them out.

Well I think Im ganna get off for the night, I enjoyed talking with you all.

Ok I think I have the solution, just not the *&(%$*()$#@ cable I need.

I'm hoping to get rid of one more piece of equipment that will need replacing I don't know how many more times over the years, even tho it will lose the convenience of being wireless, that's ok... I'll have to get a LONG cable. So in the meantime I'll have to plug and replug between computers.

Sam is chasing the Northern Lights tonight. I think he felt that was the safest thing to do.

Ok I was wondering if anyone had any more Ideas on how to make my chicken lay eggs. she stopped about a mouth ago. And I am not sure why. It stays above 40 in the coop though they do go out side when they want. The little chicken door is left open so they can come and go as the want. They have a light in there chicken coop to add day light and heat to the coop. I don"t have a timer yet so the light is just left on though i was thinking about just leaving it that way to keep some heat for the coop. I started feeding them cayenne pepper about two weeks ago to help them out but she is still not laying.

15 birds over all, 14 chickens and 1 Goose. 11 of the chickens are about 4.5 months and one 6 month old and the 3 are adults. And my goose is 4.5 months old also but she already has the "mother goose" mentallity over the chickens lol. Thats why im a little concerned how her and the new rooster are going to get along. She is already bigger than He is but then again he is a big boy him self so thats what has me worried about introducing them. Im hoping for no Epic battles in the chicken yard lol.​
