18 new babies in the brooder this evening... BCMs, Delawares, Blue orpgingon, Red Sexlinks and a Light brahma so far...

We have a Pip & Zip, 1 of the Light Brahma x EE is piped, and 1/2 zipped!!

this is the first one to survive this far!

Hurray! Fuzzy butt, wasn't due until tomorrow!

well due to movement in the incubator and a new pip, I can't get pics of the 2 Light Brahma x EE yet.But here are some photos to tide you over.....
Hatched Feb 1 & 2 Light Brahma x Barred Rocks -wasn't due until Feb 6th

Hatched Feb 13 & 14th Pure Light Brahma -Not due til Feb 16th

the last one in the incubator for this hatch has pipped.

Have set another 27 in a different incubator Hatch Due March 7th...

Green food coloring has been used to mark the heads of the Light Brahma x EE chicks that hatched on Feb 15th.
Black Permanent Marker was used on the middle toe of the right foot of the pure Light Brahmas for identification purposes.
