Oh that's great! I have heard them chirp a few days early, and worried myself sick for the next couple of days, so can commiserate. I up the humidity to 60-65 percent at lockdown. That has worked best so far, and is pretty much what everyone has advised. Try not to let it get much higher.
My bantam favs are due on the 25th, so we are pretty close. I lockdown tomorrow. Good luck!!!

We picked up our hatch today for BirdBrain, and as soon as we got home, we went ahead and put all 27 of them under our broody. I pulled the two eggs she had been sitting on for the last 10 days, and she was ver happy to make the switch!
It will be interesting to see how she deals with that many babies

A week from now? I bet she just floats on top of them!

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lock down and they are rolling around!!!!


I just have one request to the manufactures of incubators.....install chin rests!
 
I just locked down this morning on another set of eggs... quail and chicken.

Day 8 Candling (last night) showed 19 eggs showed Development. 2 I am almost positive are infertile, 6 I could not tell for sure. I will be changing Batteries in the flashlight and building a candler of some sort, in the next couple of days.

Temps steady between 99.9-100.4 Humidity 35-40%.
