Yeah Deb, that would be ideal. What about those Freedom Rangers? I'll have to do a bit of research on them. We ordered the roasters from MMH, they claim there are less leg issues but they take 11 weeks.
I am thinking of trying them next Spring and see how they do.

If I survive my first round of meat birds this year, I might go in on an order with you!

Tori I will try to get pictures today...(and of Mondo too, Deb) The last week was a killer. Dad left us on June 6th,

but its been a blur since trying to get everything in order for Mom. Thank heaven for my sister in law

.... I haven't been able to get to any projects this week at all, so maybe today and tomorrow..

I would but I still have a couple that I am going to pass along myself. They are nice chickens though. I have one and the egg is a nice dark brown with speckles. They are pretty steady layers too.
