Why is it I have to go to a different page in order to see if there are alerts on my thread ? There not showing up and I am missing people because they thing they are being ignored when in fact I dont know they have posted.
We didnt have to refresh on the old BYC . New posts popped up when they were posted. I didnt have to go looking for each one.
Very frustrating

I think refreshing is the key. If you don't click on your screen and move things around a little then the page doesn't refresh on it's own.

yes and even then I have to do it a couple times here lately .

I wonder is brower's speed/or internet speed has something to do with it?
I have no clue if browsers even have speed though.

It really is Twist. I understand we had to move but the technology is out there , we have used it and we want it back.

I have trouble too. I can be caught up on a thread then not get alerts for hours or days. I end up going to the watched threads to see that there’s been actively since I was there last.

AHA...so there is something that controls how often/how fast your browser updates.
