how do you keep algea from growing in your water

Elbow grease. Are you can use Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar about a tablespoon per gallon of water in a plastic water-er . I use to use it all the time but its pretty pricey so I use it once a month. Its beneficial to their health as well. I change all animals water everyday so algae isn't a big problem here.

A little bleach when cleaning the waterer helps, too. I happen to have an extra one and have been letting one dry from one water change to the next, which also helps. Algae grow faster if the water is in the sun, too.
