"All I ever wanted..." story

"Ben! C'mon, we're going!" Dad called to me from the driveway. "What! Where?" I yelled in shock. "Going to live at aunt Shelia's! She's in the middle of town... you know she loves our visits, and now we have no house to live in. She has to take us, or we'll be on the streets. Lets go." He said seriously. My life seemed to be falling apart within hours! I had to find out if this was my dog, or if it wasn't, where was he? I ran back to the shed and delicately picked up a piece of hair from the burlap bag that the collie always slept on. I examined it closely. It was white with a tint of black at the beginning. I went back to the dog in the yard, as he nosed through the remains of the cat. His face was all bloody, so I couldn't tell his haircolor from his head. I looked at his body closely. He had a white coat with black spots, and his tail was completely white. A light bulb went on in my head! My collie wasn't white! He had a black coat with white spots, and one of his eyes had a white spot around it! That was it, I needed to see the color of his fur around his eyes! Carefully, I approached him. I thought, "If this is my dog, he won't let me touch him. If this isn't my dog, he might or might not let me touch him." I reached my hand towards his bloody muzzle and face, talking softly. He didn't even flinch as I touched his face all over, then found a tissue in my pocket to wipe away the blood around his eyes. This wasn't my dog. This killer dog had a white face, where as my dog had a white spot around one eye. I know he did. But would my parents believe me? Would anyone believe me?
