I can't wait

So I am on a long car trip.

My son in law fractured his tibia in the surf out on the outer banks in NC. His leg is immobilized and non weight bearing. I am now helping to get him back home to Detroit. That's a journey of nearly 1,000 miles. We completed 4 hours yesterday. While my daughter tends to him, I will be driving.

We cleaned and closed up their rental house and left Avon yesterday and headed to Norfolk, VA to change out rental cars. They had flown into Norfolk and rented a car before heading down to Avon. The car they had rented was too small for him to sit sideways in and keep his leg up.

So we picked up a new car while still having the previous one, transferring my son in law and all of their stuff from one car to the other. We then drove on to Richmond, VA. Today we will try and make Charleston, WV.

Here is the anticipated trip.
