It's already Tuesday here so here's my

Latest on the build.....

On Sunday I got the following done.

I removed the roof to fix a fit problem and Mrs BY Bob painted it before I reinstalled it.

I framed out the best box while she did that.

I then reinstalled the roof.

I then measured in the window cut out and removed the front panel. When I placed the window on it I had it just right.

I cut the hole and fit the window to make certain I cut it right. I got it right the first time!

I then removed the hardware cloth from the front of the coop.

I placed the front with the hole onto the run so I knew where to cut the the support 2x4.

That wire was then used to cover the framed in window hole.

I then installed the front panel and checked to be certain the window fit.

Then all heck broke loose as vicious Thunderstorms hit lasting almost 2 hours.

I went out after the storms and managed to get sides on the nest box. I tacked a piece of plywood over the box to help keep any rain out.

That was Sunday.....
You must be close to the painting stage now, Bob. So very nearly time for Phyllis to step up to being a mamma.

Not nearly. I need to finish the nest boxes, install the porch wall and finish the wall with the easy access door. Then there is some kind of a ramp system and roosts (these may wait a bit). Then I need to figure out ventilation.

But yeah close. And the chicks just shipped! Time is running past me.

Hey y'all, I apologize for my absence, I have missed you, but things in life have been, well... life. I have had dog training classes every Monday, except today, and my youngest brother, a cancer survivor, had a Nerve conduction study done today. We found out that he has Peripheral Neuropathy, due to chemo treatment he had 5 years ago.

While the chemo kept him alive and helped him survive his childhood cancer, it left him with various other medical issues. But every day, since he went into remission in 2016, he has been strong, regardless of all these extra problems. He is a trooper!

Best of luck, you can do it Bob!

Awww! I can't wait for pictures!
