It's how it is although this morning's update was less joyful and more sheer terror although it turned joyful the more I read.

I did want to convey my emotions to everyone. It seems I did that. Thanks for the affirmation.

Even if you'd deadpanned it, I'd have felt the terror. That hawk had been on mind.

Bob, I am intrigued. Can you explain how I put out eggs for the crows? Do I just set them on a table? I would like to employ the crows.

I would also like a little more info about crows and eggs. There are two big crows who visit from time to time and I'd like to encourage them.

Crows are fine in chasing away other flying predators. They don't do it out of kindness to the farmer..... They do it to eliminate competition. While crows will leave grown chicken alone,,, they will eat baby chicks.

We usually just toss walnuts up on our roof.

I just put a couple in the compost pile every now and then. They found other things they liked there too and stayed. They are very territorial.
