Even if you'd deadpanned it, I'd have felt the terror. That hawk had been on mind.I did want to convey my emotions to everyone. It seems I did that. Thanks for the affirmation.

Bob, I am intrigued. Can you explain how I put out eggs for the crows? Do I just set them on a table? I would like to employ the crows.Good morning folks
Bob, put some eggs out to draw in the crows. They'll take care of the hawk.
I would also like a little more info about crows and eggs. There are two big crows who visit from time to time and I'd like to encourage them.Bob, I am intrigued. Can you explain how I put out eggs for the crows? Do I just set them on a table? I would like to employ the crows.
Crows are fine in chasing away other flying predators. They don't do it out of kindness to the farmer..... They do it to eliminate competition. While crows will leave grown chicken alone,,, they will eat baby chicks.I would also like a little more info about crows and eggs. I just put a couple in the compost pile every now and then. They found other things they liked there too and stayed. They are very territorial.Bob, I am intrigued. Can you explain how I put out eggs for the crows? Do I just set them on a table? I would like to employ the crows.
