I am enjoying your joy!
It is snowing heavily here right now. The snow is pretty, it is the horrible cold that will follow that makes me unhappy.

I’m glad that I can spread some joy
But I totally get what you mean about the cold I just told my husband… “After it snows I want it to warm up!”
I’m ready for my daily walks that I do not do when it’s cold.. or even chilly!

I understand it's not often this area gets snow, but the local news channels trying to one up each other to the point of fear mongering is unnecessary. It's one day

One day of pure joy!! I’ll take it! I don’t have a sense of fear…. I am ecstatic!!! I don’t care if we lose power or all my plants die! This doesn’t happen often and I will fully enjoy whatever we get or whatever happens
I hope you can enjoy it as much as I will it is a joy like none other (IMO) and I truly hope you get to feel that too

The news channels may have a point in warning of the coming snow.

Let me share a true story from a Loooong time ago.
DW's cousin moved to Houston, Texas, from Chicago. In those days, snow was infrequent there also. But when it did happen, the drivers on the streets were like in a DEMOLITION DERBY. Not inserting a funny Emoji BTW.
The people had no idea how to drive in slippery conditions, and the street department was not prepared with plows and salt.
She , being a northerner, knew how to handle snow driving.
These were stories she shared when she came to visit us.

So, driving in bad weather is dangerous. Especially when it is a new thing for the locals.
