She is lovely. Keep us posted!Sooooo, I did a thingI swore I would never
I gave her a bakers dozen! She is SweetPea my partridge Cochin bantam… I gave her mostly bantam eggs and I’m not sure how many are even fertile so that’s why I gave her so many! Two I think are from my salmon Favrolles and their eggs are pretty small.. my rooster is a bantam as well so hoping for small chickens.

…… so, on the ones that look very much the same but couldn’t clearly see an eye I kept anyway… and there are three that I am probably 90% sure that aren’t viable cuz they look quite different. But I am keeping those for a few more days just to be certain! So from what I can tell it looks like 10 may be good to goExciting!Sooooo, today is day 8 so I candled the eggs…
First of all let me say that I went on YouTube to see what they should look like and mine do not look as they should or from what I saw they should look like. And if I would’ve judged by all the ones I saw I probably would’ve tossed viable eggs! None of mine have the visible veins throughout… there’s just a big dark blob inside.. but larger than a yolk and what made me suspicious was how clear the air pocket is… and on some I could clearly see the eye and it was moving around
