So how do y'all say caramel and syrup?

I say caramel like it rhymes with far-soul(car-mel) or sometimes like fair-uh-soul(car-a-mel).
Syrup is sir-up and sometimes sear-up.
I say Cara-mel and si-rup (I think, I'm no good a putting this sort of thing in to words)
 
Omg same 😭🤣 although lately it's been happening more, especially if i start rambling
My grandparents are from Kentucky, so I slip into it around them, and today at the store, there was country music and when I woke it just came out. :P It happens with British accents as well.
 
I always sound the same never mind what accents I'm hearing.
If I say four, people always think I'm saying three. Apparently its the oo and ou noises which sound the least aussie.
