I do promotional/marketing material for a feed company that has just started to manufacture chicken feed.

This is no ordinary chicken feed. It is made with all roasted grains, high quality vitamins and minerals, no by-products. In other words, you could actually eat it yourself (and I have. A bit gritty, and I don't want a heaping bowl for breakfast, but I'm not taking my life into my hands by eating it.) It is not a nationally distributed product, in fact, you can only purchase it at the one retail store the manufacturer has in VA. I believe he has both a starter feed (brand new) AND a regular feed.

ANYWAY! I'm looking for a poster child for the cover of the brochure. You will get credit for it, of course, on the cover. And if you want your telephone number/web site added, no problemo. I'm sorry, there's no $1,000,000 payment ... I'll be happy to send you a PDF of the brochure... and a hard copy too. It's not even going to be commercially printed (but it will be printed on our wonderful printer that DOES print bleed.)

So. There it is. The size of the cover should be 3.66 inches by 8.5 (it's a tri-folded 11 x 8.5 letter paper) and should probably feature a full grown cluckeroo, but I'm not ruling out more than one chicken, nor a chicken & rooster (rated G of course

), mama and babies, etc.

Well, that's it. I have asked permission from BYC, and I am very thankful for the opportunity, as I've seen some wonderful photos on this forum. I'd like to use the whole vertical picture, so trees and/or grass etc. would be nice—but I'll work with whatever I get. I'll select a dozen or so, then let the owners make the final decision.

PM me if you have any further questions. And thank you all very much!

Erm.. I'm incapable of chicken pictures of course... but there is one lady that I know of that you might try pm'ing this thread to.. (many others too of course) the hedgehog breeder lady, Chickenwhisperer. She has some really fabulous photos!

[Oldenburg Mom:

I couldn't help but to notice your user name. Do you have Warmblood horses? I use to have a stunning Oldenburg jumper who was imported from Germany - he was one heck of a horse. I love the breed.

THANKS everyone!!!!

I love love love the peeps and the beautiful chicken on the flower pot ... I'm going to try and use both.

Neither will work for the cover, though, as it needs to be vertical.

LOVELY winter pix,... but spring/summer-y is probably better.

These are simply GAWGEOUS.

(Yes, I have Oldenburgs ... dressage mostly)

Amyable ... did you crop this picture? What's it like uncropped,... the Sumatra Hen, which is very dramatic against the grass (LOVE LOVE LOVE this photo)

Dixie Chick... same for you. Did you crop? If yes, what's the uncropped version? Vertical I need more background.
