Allie & Bino, the albino orpington chicks

Wow, that's so sad... do you know why?

No, I can only guess being smaller it for picked on by the others in the brooder. The hatch total was 8 and I didn't want to leave it alone. I was working or sleeping all weekend, so I couldn't really check on it or give it vitamins to get it started. The first one is still doing fine. Probably a rooster, lol, but that's OK.

Thank you. While I never like losing a chick or adult, it is part of life. On the bright side, I still have one!

If you would like and chippy says it's OK, I'll be happy to post pics of the color combinations that comes out of these breedings. I don't know which may or may not carry the gene, but suspect it follows barring from the original cuckoo. Although I'm trying to eliminate blue, it seems to have made it to the third generation.

Go ahead! I don't have any exciting updates about Allie and Bino, so yeah.

I was wondering if Chippy could share some new pictures of the twins. You know some to show how they are developing. Also what are they being fed and any supplements or vitamins they may get.

Thanks!

Any info Chiques wants to add about his albino would be goo too!
